Belleville man sentenced to life for murders

The Belleville man convicted of the first-degree murders of a 46-year-old woman and her 14-year-old daughter has been sentenced to life in prison.
20-year-old Dean Brown was sentenced yesterday in a Picton courtoom, and he will not be eligible for parole for 25 years.
He was also convicted of the attempted murder of his ex-girlfriend Shannon Hannah. The murder victims were Shannon’s mother and sister.
Brown shot all three in their Mountainview home, south of Belleville, in March of last year.
Victim impact statements were read out in the courtroom before Brown was sentenced.
