Preliminary hearing begins for accused Ottawa killer

The preliminary hearing for an accused Ottawa serial killer began Monday.

57-year-old Camille Cleroux is accused of killing three women including his roommate.

Cleroux faces a charge of first-degree murder in the death of 64-year-old Paula Leclair, whose remains were found in a wooded area near her home in 2010.

Last year, police also charged Cleroux in the deaths of his two former wives.

The hearing runs through November 2.
