Humane Society fundraiser today

Photographers are always looking for new things to shoot. So says Sean Sisk, a local photographer who is launching his new calendar Sunday afternoon at D’arcy Mc Gee’s.
Sisk, who does a lot of live music shots, decided to showcase some local personalities with their dogs, and all the money is going to the humane society.
Sisk tells 1310news many of his subjects were people he already knew from previous work, but he also found others through social media.
“Some of them we came across that facebook thing. Like Elaina Martin from Westfest. I had know idea she had a dog let alone three.”
The fundraiser on until 5 this afternoon, features great prizes from the calendar’ sponsors as well as music entertainment from local acts Down with Ashes, John Allaire, The Claytones and The Bushpilots.
