Burning garbage bin source of late night fire

A burning garbage bin is the cause of a fire at a home in the city’s west end Wednesday night.
Fire crews were called to a home on Fisher Avenue, near Shillington Avenue just after 9:30 p.m. after numerous callers reported a garage fire was spreading to the home.
Once firefighters arrived they were quickly able to extinguish the fire in the garbage bin on the side of the house before it was able to spread.
Very little damage was reported.
