OTTAWA – One of the NDP’s most prominent MPs is making no apologies for dropping a couple of F-bombs on Twitter.
Winnipeg MP Pat Martin used the colourful language after the Conservative government invoked closure on a budget debate Wednesday.
One post reads, “This is a f-ing disgrace … closure again. And on the Budget! There’s not a democracy in the world that would tolerate this jackboot sh–.”
When another user called Martin a “foul mouth socialist,” the response was “f- you.”
Later, he told another critic to “eat my shorts.”
One user made a comment about Martin’s account being hacked and Martin replied, “Not hacked. Just truly pissed off…you should have seen them last night laughing and joking in their smug ignorance”.
Martin has close to 2,000 followers and the outburst has caused quite a stir in the Twitterverse.
Martin has not commented on the tirade.
