OTTAWA — Now that winter is almost upon us, green bin collection in Ottawa is going biweekly starting on Monday.
Pickup will be every second week until the end of March.
Leaf and yard waste collection will continue as usual, they can go in the green bin or in a paper bag next to the green bin.
Residents are reminded that plastic bags of any kind, including compostable plastic bags, sanitary products, diapers and animal feces are not accepted in the green bin.
