Sens down the Lightning 4-2 at Scotiabank Place

Trailing 2-1 in the 3rd period, the Sens exploded for three goals to take down the Tampa Bay Lightning 4-2 at Scotiabank Place Monday.
It was a tight game up until the end of the third period.
Tampa Bay’s Bruno Gervais scored the first goal of the game at 13:52 of the 2nd period. But the Sens responded a few minutes later with a goal from Zack Smith.
Martin St. Louis gave the Lightning a 2-1 lead at 3:35 of the third period. But the Sens bounced back just over five minutes later. Daniel Alfredsson ripped a slap shot past Lightning goaltender Dwayne Roloson to tie the game 2-2.
Nick Foligno scored his 8th goal of the season at 15:33 of the third period, assisted by Alfredsson.
And then Zack Smith iced the victory with a breakaway goal, assisted by Sergei Gonchar.
Craig Anderson was solid in net for Ottawa, only allowing 2 goals on 33 shots.
The Sens moved back into 8th place in the Eastern Conference with the win.
They host the Capitals Wednesday at Scotiabank Place.
