Vanier fire causes $400,000 damage

Ottawa Fire responded to a blaze in the Montreal Road and Vanier Parkway area just before midnight Tuesday.
The two-storey building on Derosiers Street was under construction at the time and took 40 minutes to put out.
Nancy Delbianco, a supervisor with Ottawa Fire told 1310News, the house was vacant at the time, and flames did not spread to near by residences.
Damage is estimated at $400,000.
