Chris Phillips’ 1000th game honoured at the Bank

There’s a new mural lining the walls of Scotiabank Place, a tribute to Chris Phillips who played his 1,000th game with the Sens last night.

It was great, it was a lot of fun, I couldn’t have scripted it any better the way it all worked out. I don’t know how you top it but it was great,” said Phillips who told 1310News it’s nice to have his name up beside Daniel Alfredsson, the man that’s been a teammate, a friend, and a fellow hockey dad for years.
