OTTAWA – A 28-year-old Ottawa man has been killed in a single vehicle crash in the city’s west end, Thursday.
Emergency crews were called to the 100 block of Robertson Road just before 1:30 a.m. and arrived on scene within two minutes of the call to find the driver trapped in his car with no vital signs.
Paramedics tried to revive him as fire fighters worked to extricate him from the vehicle.
However, despite the best efforts of emergency crews he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The man’s name has not been released.
Roberston Road was closed, from Westcliffe Road to Mill Hill Road, for about three hours while police investigated.
