First degree murder charge laid in Naveed Niran stabbing

OTTAWA – Ottawa police have laid a first-degree murder charge against an Ottawa man in the stabbing death of Navid Niran.

Ahmed Hafizi, 18, will appear in court Friday.

Niran was stabbed to death outside a local bar on Dalhousie Street at Besserer Street on January 22.
