Final caucus day for interim NDP Leader Nycole Turmel

Wednesday is the final caucus day for Nycole Turmel as interim leader of the NDP.

Turmel took the position in the summer after Jack Layton requested her to do so, when he announced he would be stepping away from his role to battle a second form of cancer.

Layton passed away on August 22.

Parliament will be on break next week while the New Democrats choose their new leader on March 24 at a convention in Toronto.
