Carling re-opens after water main break

OTTAWA – Motorists can breath a sign of relief, Thursday, after a section of Carling Avenue has re-opened after a watermain break.
The busy artery had been shut down from Woodroofe to Fairlawn avenues. Woodroofe Avenue was also closed northbound at Fox Crescent.
Some residents in the area were without water while crews worked to repair the water main.
The road was closed from 5 a.m. Wednesday until 1:30 a.m. Thursday.
