After weeks of record breaking high temperatures in the capital, we are in a for a week of single digit highs, wind chills and even possible snow Wednesday.

Monday’s forecast calls for mainly sunny skies and strong winds with a high of plus 2.  It will get down to minus 10 overnight Monday under clear skies.

Things warm up marginally Tuesday, getting up to a high of plus 5 and we could even see snow on Wednesday with a high of plus 6.

The blast of reality comes after almost two weeks of warm summer-like weather that broke nine weather records.
