OPP in Lanark County are telling people not to pick up hitchhikers or open their doors to strangers while the hunt for two men continues.
Police believe the men, both white in their fifties with greying hair and dark clothing, are armed and dangerous.
It’s believed the men stole a vehicle from a Sharbot Lake home, abandoning it near Shibley Road and County road 38, south of Sharbot Lake.
Heavily-armed officers from Lanark County OPP are using the Canine Unit, the Emergency Response Team and the OPP Tactics and Rescue Unit to search for the suspects on ground and by air.
