OC Transpo killer denied appeal

The man serving a life sentence for a deadly stabbing aboard an OC Transpo bus has lost an appeal.

The man, in his 20’s, was found guilty of stabbing 23 year old Michael Oatway in 2006 in a dispute over an iPOD.

He was 17 at the time but received an adult sentence in 2009. He will be eligible for parole in 2016.
