LRT construction could cause closure of Allen Expressway

Construction for the Light Rail Transit station on the Allen Expressway may close part the road for up to a year.

According to the Toronto Star, Metrolinx has confirmed the northbound lanes between Eglinton and Lawrence Avenues will be shutdown as part of the project.

Work on ten stations, including the one at Allen, is expected to begin in two years time.
