Massive power outage from Barrhaven to Kanata

OTTAWA – More than 26,000 people spent the early morning hours of Friday in the dark or by candle light as a massive power outage affected communities from Barrhaven to Bells Corners to Kanata.
Hydro Ottawa told 1310News that the cause of the outage spawned from loss of supply from the provincial power grid.
It took crews four hours to restore the power.
