GATINEAU – The Quebec student protesters who have been forcing class cancellations at the CEGEP de l’Outaouais were demonstrating again Wednesday morning.
Demonstrators ran through the halls of the Gabrielle-Roy Campus, just as classes were to begin at 8 a.m. They then made their way from Hull to Gatineau, where classes were then cancelled for the day at the Felix-Leclerc Campus.
Classes were also cancelled at both campuses Tuesday.
The protests are part of a larger province-wide movement protesting hikes in tuition fees of $325 a year for five years.
The school administration told 1310News it would keep trying to follow an injunction order and hold classes but they will cancel them if safety is an issue.
The injunction is set to end on Friday and protesters have said they don’t want to see it renewed.
