Arrest made in Val-des-Monts murder

GATINEAU – 40-year-old Michael Brazier has been arrested in the murder of Richard Blanchet.

Blanchet’s body was found by a family member in his home last weekend.

Quebec Provincial Police told 1310News, Brazier was arrested Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. when they discovered Blanchet’s truck in front of a hotel on Greber Boulevard in Gatineau.
