Pedestrian struck by cab in critical condition

OTTAWA, On. — A 28-year-old man is in hospital in critical condition after an early morning collision between a taxi cab and pedestrian in Gloucester.
The collision happened at 2:21 a.m. at the intersection of Ogilvie Dr. and Cyrville Rd.
The man suffered a severe open head injury, a fractured left arm and a fractured left leg.
The taxi driver was shook up after the collision and another paramedic unit had to be called in to look after him.
Ottawa Police are investigating.
