Mosaika, the award-winning light show on Parliament Hill returns for another season June 5th.
The show’s spring edition will play June 5, 6, 7, 10, 11, 12 and 13th at 10 p.m.
This year, Mosaika, which highlights Canadian culture and history, features a new one-minute segment on hockey and a new grand finale.
Denise Leblanc with the NCC said the finale features more technical production and vibrant lights.
This is the first year Mosaika is being presented in the spring. Leblanc said they decided to run earlier showings to attract students taking trips in the capital city.
The free 30-minute bilingual experience uses lighting effects and animated projections to tell the story of Canada using the backdrop of the Peace Tower and Centre Block.
During the summer, Mosaika: Canada through the eyes of its people will be presented from July 6th through September 3rd.
