OTTAWA – Ottawa fire crews attended 2 calls Thursday afternoon.
First, they responded to 2850 Cedarwood Drive in the Herongate area where linens had caught fire in a storage unit in the basement.
It was hard for crews to find the source of the blaze as they were dealing with zero visibility in the basement.
There were no injuries reported and crews ventilated the building.
Then, they were also called to 128 Dossetter Way where a fire had broke out in a single family two-storey home.
Crews confirmed all residents were out of the house and they are investigating the cause.
