Kevin Gregson found guilty on sex assault charges

OTTAWA, Ont. – Kevin Gregson has been found guilty of sexual assault charges, involving the rape of a 10-year-old girl.

The girl now 13, gave the court a chilling account of how Gregson raped her twice in the days leading up to the murder of Ottawa police constable Eric Czapnik.

He has been found guilty of four counts of sexual assault causing bodily harm and four counts of sexual interference.

Gregson was arrested after killing Eric Czapnik outside the Ottawa Hospital on December 29, 2009. He was convicted of first degree murder in March and sentenced to life in prison.
