OTTAWA, Ont. – Daniel Alfredsson is making the best of the NHL lockout.

According to the Ottawa Sun, he’s been doing lots of housework, spending time with his wife and four sons, and helping out with the cooking and cleaning.

Alfredsson seems to be enjoying himself.

He says the longer the lockout goes on, the less eager he is to get back on the ice, and that he may decide to move into retirement mode if he doesn’t play this year.

The Ottawa Senator captain says he could handle another season physically, but is lacking motivation at the moment.
