The NHL and the Players’ Association are expected to talk this weekend.
It’s unclear though when negotiations will resume in the ongoing labour fight that has paralyzed the hockey season.
NHL commissioner Gary Bettman suggested to Players’ Association chief Donald Fehr (feer) Thursday that the sides take a two-week break.
The players haven’t officially said whether they accept or reject Bettman’s suggestion.
The league and the locked-out players haven’t met ,and have barely talked, since Sunday.
The lock-out is in its third month.
