OTTAWA, Ont. – There were only minor injuries reported after a spectacular crash on Highway 417 Tuesday morning.

A vehicle travelling west went through a fence near the Island Park Drive exit just before 7:30am, and ended up in a backyard on Helena Street.

Crews towed the car out of the yard, and are now figuring out how to repair the fence.

The woman driving the car suffered minor injuries. No one else was hurt.
