Funerals planned for three young children in Quebec

STE-CHRISTINE, Que. – Funerals are planned for Saturday for three young children who died in suspicious circumstances in Quebec.

They were found dead Sunday at their mother’s home in Ste-Christine, about 100 kilometres east of Montreal.

Police have not yet confirmed how the children, aged two, four and five, died.

Their father, Patrick Desautels, thanked everyone in the small rural community for their support.

Speaking at a local restaurant Tuesday, Desautels said his family is devastated as it makes plans for the funeral.

He says he could say little more because of the ongoing police investigation.
