At least 50 people have been confirmed injured after a commuter ferry carrying passengers from New Jersey to Lower Manhattan crashed.

The ferry collided with pier 11, near Wall Street at about 8:45 a.m.

This passenger says she saw many injured people.

“I was sitting in the back and I could see at least four people on the ground,” a passenger said. “There were definitely many people on the ground that were not moving.”

The ferry which makes the run daily, can hold up to 400 passengers.
