Suspicious death in Maniwaki

MANIWAKI, Ont. – Police are treating the death of a Maniwaki woman as suspicious.
Surete du Quebec responded to a 911 call around 2:00 p.m., Thursday, at a home in the village, which is about two hours north of Ottawa.
A man has been brought in for questioning, but no arrests have yet been made.
“A security perimeter has been set up around the house and our crime scene technicians are working on it to see exactly what transpired,” said Sgt. Daniel Thibideau. “At this point we have a man in his 50s who’s being questioned by investigators in relation to this incident.”
As of Thursday evening, there was no word what caused the woman’s death.
