OTTAWA, Ont. – The man dubbed the “pants puller” will undergo a psychiatric assessment before returning to court for sentencing next month.
According to the Sun, Gavin Sean Griffiths, 26, plead guilty to sexually assaulting nine women last year between mid-April and early May, where he tried or succeeded in pulling their pants down. He has been hit with nine counts of sexual assault, mischief and two counts of breach of probation.
The attacks, mostly in the downtown and Alta Vista areas, had women across the city on edge last spring.
Griffiths was eventually arrested on an OC Transpo bus, and was identified by three of the victims in a photo line-up.
