School lockdown in North Carolina

NORTH CAROLINA – North Carolina A&T is on lockdown following a report of a man spotted on campus with a gun. The university’s website says no shots have been fired.

The school’s police department received a report “of an unknown male with a weapon in the area of the general classroom building.”

Students have been asked to close and lock all doors and windows.

Police are conducting a campus-wide search.
