Fire strikes Trainyards interior design store

A morning fire at an interior design store in the Trainyards shopping district caused $100,000 damage Saturday. Fire crews were called to Newbury Interiors just after 9 a.m. and had the fire under control in about half an hour.
The fire was contained solely to the contents of the building. The fire, which is still under investigation, caused $50,000 damage to the contents and $50,000 to the building itself.
No injuries were reported.
