Colder weather returns to Ottawa

OTTAWA, Ont. – It was shorts and sunscreen in Ottawa last week; this week, it’s back to jackets and pants.
Ottawa is under a special weather statement from Environment Canada that calls for cooler weather and possible frost.
“It’s a different weather story,” said 1310News meteorologist Jill Taylor. “We’ll likely be dealing with some frost. As the sky clears, we’ll be dealing with light wind and of course the very cool temperatures.”
Jill says it will start to warm up as the week goes on, with the forecast calling for sunny skies and a high around 22 on Thursday.
