Missing Ontario man Tim Bosma found dead: police

Missing Ancaster, Ont., man Tim Bosma has been found dead, Hamilton police said Tuesday.
Police said they’ve found burned human remains and believe they belong to 32-year-old Bosma, but did not comment on where the remains were found.
“It is with a heavy heart that the Hamilton Police Service today announce the death of Ancaster resident Tim Bosma,” Hamilton police Chief Glenn De Caire said at a news conference.
“Human remains have been located. We are convinced by the totality of the evidence that these are the remains of Tim Bosma. The evidence indicates that the remains have been burned,” he added.
Bosma was last seen on May 6 when he left with two men he said were interested in buying his pick-up truck.
He said search warrants took place from May 11-12, and that “those warrants involved the search of multiple locations.”
“Our investigation led to the identification of several locations related to the accused Dellen Millard. Authorized searches took place and evidence has been recovered,” Chief De Caire said, and added that “this investigation is long from over.”
The police chief also offered his condolences to Bosma’s family.
“Our heartfelt condolences go to Sharlene and the entire Bosma family and friends as they mourn this loss personally. Our community, also mourns with you,” he said.
Police said they will hold an “investigative briefing” at 2:30 p.m. at Hamilton police headquarters.
Dellen Millard, 27, was arrested on Saturday. He is charged with forcible confinement and theft over $5,000. The truck was recovered on Sunday.
