Ottawa councillor looking for input on how to keep libraries relevant

OTTAWA, Ont. – An 11 per cent drop in use at the Ottawa Public Library has left the board’s head trustee shocked.

Councillor Jan Harder said there were 32.6 million uses at Ottawa’s libraries last year, down significantly from the year before.

The board is now asking the public for ideas on how to keep libraries relevant. Harder is calling on residents to share their input online.
