Ottawa police laid 325 charges in April STEP program

OTTAWA, Ont. – Ottawa police laid 325 charges in April as a result of the Selective Traffic Enforcement Program (STEP).

236 charges were laid for distracted driving and 89 charges were laid for cycling safety violations.

The May STEP program focuses on motorcycle safety and running red lights.
