Charges laid after collision at gas station

OTTAWA – A man has been charged after a collision at a Barrhaven gas station sent a man to hospital with a hip injury.
Quang Do, 48, is facing a charge of criminal negligence causing bodily harm after losing control of his Toyota Camry in the parking lot of the gas station Saturday.
Paramedics say they were called to the station, near the intersection of Greenbank Road and Fallowfield Drive, around 9:20 p.m.
Do’s car struck a man, 57,k who had just finished fueling his truck. A gas pump was also knocked off its foundation in the crash.
The man was brought to hospital and remains in stable condition with injuries to his hip.
Police say alcohol wasn’t a factor.
