Six young people arrested in Kemptville drug bust

KEMPTVILLE, Ont. – A big drug bust has resulted in six young people being arrested and charged.
OPP raided a home on Water Street in Kemptville around 6 a.m., Wednesday. Police seized marijuana, cocaine, crack cocaine, and magic mushrooms.
Officers also took away pellet guns, knives, batons and a large amount of cash. Six people in the house were arrested.
Four people have been charged with possession for the purpose to traffic cocaine, possession for the purpose to traffic crack cocaine, possession for the purpose to traffic psilocybin (magic mushrooms), possession for the purpose to traffic and possession for the purpose to traffic marijuana:
– Roger Lamarche, 22
– Andrew Reginald John Lacombe, 22
– Kyle Petersen, 19
– Patrick Blanchard, 18
The four accused were held in custody for a Bail Hearing in Brockville Court, Thursday.
A 17-year-old boy from North Grenville and a 17-year-old girl from Toronto have also been charged with possession for the purpose to traffic cocaine, possession for the purpose to traffic crack cocaine, possession for the purpose to traffic psilocybin (magic mushrooms), possession for the purpose to traffic and possession for the purpose to traffic marijuana.
They cannot be named because of their age.
The two teens were released from custody to a parent and will appear in Kemptville Court on August 7.
