Bail denied for Ottawa man facing murder charge

OTTAWA – Bail has been denied for a former Canadian Forces veteran who is facing a first-degree murder charge in the killing of Ottawa man, Fouad Nayal.

Fouad disappeared on Father’s Day in 2012 and his badly decomposed body was found last November near Calabogie.

Adam Picard, 29, will remain behind bars until his trial.

A publication ban has been issued on the evidence submitted at the bail hearing.
