Museum curator facing child porn charges released on bail

OTTAWA – An Ottawa museum curator facing child pornography charges made a court appearance Monday morning.

Franz Klingender has been released on a $10,000 bond and $10,000 surety.

He is charged with nine counts of possessing child pornography and seven counts of distributing child pornography.

He has also been ordered to stay away from computers and the internet, as well as from children.
