Watch a one-hour, prime-time special broadcast on the birth of the royal baby, hosted by CityNews anchor Gord Martineau, who is joined by editor-in-chief of Hello! Canada Alison Eastwood.
Throughout the broadcast CityNews’ team of reporters will bring viewers the reactions from the streets, with Francis D’Souza reporting from outside St. Mary’s Hospital in London, Pam Seatle joining Canadians at an authentic British pub as they cheer on the arrival, and Avery Haines along with Maclean’s senior writer Anne Kingston exploring the intense media pressure the young family will face with today’s world of social media.
Also, as part of the prime-time special, CityNews reporter Andrea Piunno will host a panel with Cityline’s parenting expert, Nanny Robina, and Todaysparent.com managing editor Nadine Silverthorne to discuss Kate and William as parenting role models for a new generation.
