Murder charges laid in Halifax case

HALIFAX — A man and a woman have been charged with murder in the death of Loretta Saunders.

The university student’s body was found Wednesday on the side of a highway in New Brunswick.

Victoria Henneberry, 28, and Blake Leggette, 25, face charges of first-degree murder.

The pair are scheduled to appear in a Halifax courtroom Friday.
