OTTAWA – Take me out to the ballgame!
Professional baseball is returning to the nation’s capital. Ottawa Mayor Jim Watson will be joined by Canam Commissioner Miles Wolff and local baseball champion David Gourlay at the Ottawa Stadium at 11:30 a.m.
They are expected to announce the return of the Canam League to Ottawa.
The league has already locked in a 10-year lease for Ottawa Stadium. It was back in 2008 that the Ottawa Rapids played one season in Ottawa.
