OCDSB approves budget

OTTAWA – The Ottawa-Carleton District School Board has approved its $860 million budget for next year.
The largest part of the budget is $625 million for instruction, 73 per cent of the total budget.
The board will also spend $93 million on facilities.
The board recommended new investments in special education by creating new Autism classes at both the elementary and secondary levels.
It has also changed transportation eligibility requirements for students in grade 9-12.
