OTTAWA – The first weekend of RBC Royal Bank Bluesfest, along with what’s coming up this week, the death of golf in Canada and some women’s attraction to convicted killers such as Paul Bernardo are some of the topics being discussed on Talk to the Hand.
Monday’s show rundown:
-Ottawa musician Michelle Treacey, 17, talks to Ed about being on stage in Montreal with Lady Gaga.
-Melissa Avdeefff talks to Ed about the new course on Beyonce that she will be teaching at the University of Victoria.
-Chris Sorensen of MacLean’s Magazine talks to Ed about his story on how golf is dying in Canada.
-Vancouver ‘social artist’ Julian Thomas talks to Ed about his new pop-up cafe, designed to block out cellphone signals.
-Author Sheila Isenberg talks to Ed about why women are attracted to killers such as Paul Bernardo.
-Shi Davidi of Rogers Sportsnet talks to Ed about the Toronto Blue Jays and their recent swoon in Oakland.
-Nancy Stapleton of Country 101.1 talks to Ed about the Lady Antebellum performance at Bluesfest and she looks forward to later this week.
The talk show is hosted by veteran broadcaster Ed Hand Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
