Amber Alert issued for boy abducted from Tunney’s Pasture

OTTAWA — An Amber Alert has now been issued for a two-year-old boy who was taken from Tunney’s Pasture in what police describe as a parental abduction.
Ottawa Police say the boy was taken by his father around noon, Thursday, at an outdoor barbecue. Witnesses said they left on foot.
The boy is black and has short black hair. He was last seen wearing:
- navy/blue polo shirt
- blue denim jeans shorts
- gray/black running shoes
The father is described as:
- Black male, 5’2, medium build.
- Black hair, small dreads
- Wearing a black V-Neck shirt and beige shorts.
If you see the abducted child you are asked to call 911, immediately.
