Thousands remain without power a week after post-tropical storm Arthur

HALIFAX – It`s now been more than a week since post-tropical storm Arthur hammered the Maritimes and about 6,000 hydro customers are still without power.
Most are in the Fredericton area, and New Brunswick Power says some may be without power until Tuesday.
Nova Scotia Power, meantime, says it has reconnected all but a few of its customers.
Arthur hit Atlantic Canada on July 5, downing trees and causing power outages across the region.
Some 250,000 customers were without power at the height of the outages.
Nova Scotia Premier Stephen McNeil has called the Nova Scotia Power’s response to the storm “inexcusable.”
He`s ordered province’s Utility and Review Board to look into how NS Power responded to the outages.
