OTTAWA — An Ottawa construction worker is in serious but stable condition in hospital after falling at a work site.
Paramedics say the 32 year-old man fell 15 metres from a tower, breaking his upper leg and suffering injuries to his back and head.
The Ministry of Labour has been called to investigate the incident, which occurred at 9 a.m. Tuesday on Leitrim Road near Bank Street.
This is the second workplace accident for construction workers in the past two days.
Paramedics also rushed a worker to hospital yesterday after he was pinned under a heavy lift.
