Police seek ATM robbery suspect

OTTAWA — Ottawa Police are seeking the public’s assistance after an afternoon robbery Sunday, June 29th at an ATM.
It happened just before 5:00 p.m. when the female victim was robbed by a male suspect in the lobby of a bank along the 2400 block of Bank Street.
The suspect approached the woman from behind and demanded money, then fled the lobby.
No one was injured in the incident.
The suspect is described as a Caucasian male, between 30 and 40 years of age, 5’8 and an average build.
He was wearing a yellow baseball cap, black shirt, and sunglasses.
Anyone with information on the robbery is asked to contact police or Crimestoppers.
